I have loved the Bontempo family since I was a young girl - at church and also as dear friends of my family. I send my condolences to you all at Dee’s passing. Her joy and her kindness will be greatly missed by all who knew her. You all are in my thoughts and my prayers right now.

Neil worked with your dad in the Berea school system and then both of our families went to St. Andrews Church. I got to know your parents there and through the years we became very good friends. Your dad was so helpful working with many of us who came for Art lessons every Monday night at the church and your mom and I also worked together on committees in the church.
I remember too that your grandmother, your mom and probably your dad too were strong Indians fans and your parents were avid Ohio State fans as well.
I think I will remember your mom especially for always being a strong, positive and caring woman. Her family always came first in her life. She was always so proud of her children and grandchildren and their achievements. In visiting with her these last few years, even though she might not be feeling well that day, she always greeted me with a smile and was interested in hearing what my family were doing.
I will truly miss both your parents - they were special!

Dee was a sweet, kind and generous person. I loved playing cards with her. I can only imagine the celebration that is going on in Heaven. Sending prayers of comfort to her family.
Dee Bontempo was one of the loveliest and most loved women who ever lived, A beautiful soul filled with joy and giving. May her memory bring us blessings and may her immortal soul rest with G-d.
