Gary has been a longtime friend through association of my then boyfriend. The three of us hung out, consumed mass quantities of pizza, golfed every chance we got, & loved racing his tri-sport in a field. It is no wonder that Gary was the best man at our wedding.
After we were married, we went on numerous biking adventures with Gary & his brother, riding the trails in the metroparks as well as I-480 before it opened. The four of us would stay up into early morning hours playing games, like Hearts, which often became intense.
As time went on Gary, encouraged me to join the vocal & bell choirs at his church, where I later became a member. He & his family began sharing many holidays with us & joined in the celebrations with our children.
Gary has been a wonderful friend, will be greatly missed but always remembered. Thanks for the memories. May you rest in peace.
