So very sorry for the loss of Ron for your Family, I worked with Ron at Ohio Bell and AT&T, we were at the Garage at Pearl and Bagley Road,,,,,And again out on Route 82 at Rt 77, I was 36 and Ron was 49 years old, and Ron was at the top of his Game....He was a Tremendously Experienced Telephone Man, And I appreciated Ron's Experience and expertise, and his Friendship.......Charlie Behm .

I am very saddened for all of you in the loss of your wonderful Dad. I remember him as being an outdoorsman, fun-loving yet firm and so very proud of his children. It was obvious he was a man who really enjoyed being with his family. He and your Mom were so easy to talk with when I was a teenager and always made me feel comfortable and welcomed. I know he will be very missed by all of you.

1981, I was 16 years old and had just spent a week in Arkansas with Grandma and Grandpa "Tiger" ( Ron's brother John and his wife Isabel). Uncle Ron and Aunt Joanne drove me back to Cleveland at the end of the week. Before leaving, Grandpa Tiger pressed a $20 bill in my hand and whispered "you buy breakfast tomorrow morning". Of course, they would have nothing of it. They insisted that I keep the 20 and paid for breakfast. The Newman Brothers, they are hunting together again.
I will always remember along with other memories Mr. Newman's signature wave while working in the yard but mostly when cutting the lawn. While driving up or down Berkshire Drive and giving a honk of the horn to say hello, he would use the thumb finger pistol wave usually at a forty five degree angle. Truly a great man and a big influence in my life growing up. Thank you Mr. Newman. God Bless and may you rest in peace.
Ron Sr was a second father to me. I'll always remember the fishing trips to the cabin in PA. The Newman family was very blessed to have such a great family leader.
In moments like these distant memories come back to us to fill our hearts once again. All the memories I have of Gramps are filled love and only love. All the nights we spent at his house playing cards with Grams with the scent of his pipe lingering while he watched MASH. Sacrificing his side of the bed so I could watch Golden Girls and awakening to the smell of coffee and pancakes the next morning. Playing in the yard climbing in the tree and on the boat ramp. All the holiday dinners and gatherings. All the road trips and Gramps allowing me to be his co-pilot knowing I'd fall asleep within the first forty-five minutes. Packing up the van to take me to college. Most heartwarming of all was experiencing Gramps with Max. Those two are the sweetest thing I have ever seen! We will miss you and love you forever.

It is evident by all the great pictures that Big Ron was very loved and he loved all of you very much! It is never the right time to lose a loved family member, please take solace in having him in your lives as long as you did.
I have very fond memories of Indian Guides meetings in the basement of the Newman house, Ron was always great to be around, I am very glad I was able to have him be a part of my young life.
