Scott was my neighbor for the past 23 years and became one of my closest friends. He was a very genuine man and lived his life on his own terms which I greatly respected. He was a devoted family man and loved his daughters and grandchildren more than anyone I have ever known. Who else would have his grandkids initials tattooed on his arm at age 68? He would drop everything to help his family or spend time with them. Scott helped he more times than I could count with any issue or problem I might have in my home or yard. He would never say no or be too busy to help. We survived COVID together with happy hours on the deck sitting 10 feet apart, grateful for each other’s company. That grew into weekly happy hours every Friday night where we solved the problems of the world. We retired the same year and I would see him or talk to him almost daily. I will miss so many things without him next door including his great smile, big laugh and self-deprecating humor. I love you and miss you my friend and I was truly blessed to call you my friend. Rest in peace and have a cold one ready for me when I see you again at the pearly gates!
