Catherine Crytzer

February 22, 1943 - April 8, 2022

Catherine Crytzer (nee Schroeder) of Lakewood passed away peacefully April 8, 2022. She is survived by her cherished son, Anthony Alan Crytzer and her dear sister, Christine Salmon; loving aunt to Lorie Hudson (Shawn), Robert Salmon (Judy), Jill Gustama (Dielson), Brad Salmon (Theresa) and great-aunt to Blake, Alex, Ceci, William, Vivi, Callum, Jaxon and Gwendolyn and treasured friend to many. Cathy grew up in Lakewood graduating from Lakewood High School. She worked for Ohio Bell/Ameritech for over 25 years, many years in the marketing department and retired as an Account Manager for Educational Funding Group. Cathy enjoyed traveling and was an avid sports fan. She also was a “longtime friend of Bill W”, Cleveland area Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) recovery community. She celebrated over 30 years of sobriety. Her commitment to A.A. and to those battling addiction will remain one of her greatest acts of service. There is no memorial service planned at this time.
