Mr. and Mrs. Z. And Family. I am so deeply sorry, so saddened by this. Darrell was such a genuine guy. When Dan wasn't home, Darrell and I would shoot baskets in the driveway. Laugh, talk about girls and cars. Summer plans. I really did enjoy our time, just hanging out. He was smart and mature for our ages then. Love, peace and my prayers. Brad R.

Darrel was one of the most wonderful men that I have ever met. He hired me as a pharmacy technician in 2006 and was my boss for about 5 years. He inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare, and wrote me a letter of recommendation to aid me in pursuing my dreams. He was always so kind, caring, thoughtful, selfless, genuine, and approachable to everyone he encountered. I hold the family of Darrel Ziemianski in my thoughts and prayers. He always talked about his love of music, his kids, sports, and food at work. I tried Chipolte for the first time when he placed an order at work for everyone. To this day, he is the best boss that I have ever had and the one that I will never forget. I am glad I got to tell him this when I saw him 4 months ago in the hospital. I am extremely saddened by the news of his passing at such a young age and the suffering that he endured in such a short time. I hope he is now in a better place and that he rests in peace.
Darrel was a great friend and coworker. I learned a lot from him and shared many good times. He will be missed immensely. Rest In Peace Captain D. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

As a teenager, Darrel was such a sweet, friendly, positive young man. He was good friends with our daughters. We send our good thoughts to his family and friends.
