Don was always so kind and comforting to speak with, always friendly and welcoming when I'd pass the house and pull over to talk for a few minutes. Kayda, you and your family are in my prayers. My sincere condolences regarding the passing of Don. My name is Mike Volker. I live in Norwalk, and was a pseudo cousin of Don’s. My father Al brought me to his house in Meriden for many Sunday dinners. I called his mother Aunt Rose. My father was an orphan and was sort of adopted by his family. I reached out to Don a few years ago after learning of his residence in Ohio but for some reason he rejected it. I am in the telephone book in Norwalk should you and your family decide to reach out.
Dear Kayda, both Tom and I were very sorry to hear of Donald's death. While I never got to know him, I am sure that he will be greatly missed by all who were privileged to know him. Tom and I will keep him, you and your family in our prayers.
