I remember Joyce was a great cook and she made awesome macaroni salad, which was MY FAVE. Every holiday or special occasion she would make a big bowl of it knowing that I would probably eat about half if it, lol. Also, when Mom and Dad were both working, she took care of us. Every day, all day. In the summertime, she would take us to Meyers Pool in Cleveland a lot and we would spend the day there swimming and laying out and just having fun. She was good to us Whitlock kids our whole childhood. She was an angel.
Our Aunt Joyce was a wonderful woman. She did many things for us when we were kids and well into adulthood. She was very loving and had a huge heart. She was also very creative and quite the seamstress. She would always make our Halloween costumes and take us all out to “trick or treat”. She will be missed by many. Attached is a photo of a few of the costumes she made for us. There are many other pictures but this is the only one I have. I do remember Mitzi and Andy dressed up as an “old” couple and it was hilarious. If anyone has it, maybe you can post some of Aunt Joyce’s handy work.
Sweet Great Aunt Joyce. Doug was my grandfather. I so enjoyed talking to you at family reunions. Many prayers for the family at this time.
