LaVerne Rose Forrester, 91, of Sagamore Hills, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2022. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Arthur & Rose Schwertle (nee Schmidt). LaVerne will be truly missed by her children Rick (Lynn), Mark (Carol), and Scott Forrester; loving grandmother of Rebecca Willett, Hannah (Tyler) MacLellan, Nicole Forrester, David Forrester, Rachel (Bryan) Watson, Rebecca LeBlanc, Danille (Brad) Mims, and Elizabeth Forrester; cherished great-grandmother of Kohner, Koda, Evangeline, Emery, Eliana, and Journey; beloved sister of Marilyn Schwertle; and a host of extended family and dear friends. LaVerne is preceded in death by her husband of 50+ years, Russell Forrester, and her son Dan Forrester. A visitation & memorial service will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 12-2pm at Sunset Funeral Services, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
