Marjorie M. Slowbe
March 8, 1948 - July 3, 2021
Marjorie M. Slowbe, 73, of North Olmsted, passed away peacefully following a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis on July 3, 2021. Marge is the daughter to the late Frank and Marjorie (nee Spelbring) Gregoric; beloved wife to Burt Slowbe; sister to Mari Lou (Derek) Perry; aunt to Nicholas Herr and Skye Perry; great aunt to Layla Hope; stepmother to Karen; cousin to Maureen (Fred), Michael, Gloria, the late Sean Linda, David, Susan, and Mark; and good friends with those who were more like family Chuck (Patty) Talaba, Jacqueline (John) Hyde, and dear pen pal for many years who was more like a sister Bernadette Desjardins Soerensen. Marge was a proud member of Kheedawee Court #6 LOSNA. She enjoyed traveling locally with Burt - their favorite place to visit was New Orleans for Mardi Gras. She was a happy woman that never ceased to bring a warmth to everyone she met. She had a way of bringing people so much joy and lighting up a room with ease that no one could match. Her free spirit and infectious smile will be remembered and missed tenderly in the days to come. A visitation will be held at the Sunset Chapel located at 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, 44070 on Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 4pm until 8pm with a LOSNA ceremony at 6:30pm. A funeral service will be held at the Sunset Chapel on Friday, July 9, 2021, at 10am. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make charitable donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Ohio Chapter. https://www.nationalmssociety.org/Chapters/OHA/Donate Marge's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of O'Neill Healthcare in North Olmsted.
