What I remember the most about Norm is his big heart. Every time I spoke to him on the telephone, he would follow our "Good-bye"s by saying "I love you" to me. Norm was good at numerous things, but what he was exceptionally good at was loving those close to him. He not only has loved his family and friends with feelings, but with actions. When he and Ruthy got married, he adopted her children and made them his own. When I was going through a hard time, Norm (and Ruthy, of course) opened their door to me and let me live with them for several months. He was always doing handyman jobs and fixing things up nicely in his and others' homes. Because I care so much about Ruthy, my long-time friend, I've always felt secure that Norm was there to look after her, and that, he did, beautifully. I've always liked Norm's sense of humor and the way he teased me about being slow and unassertive! We had fun. And, I'll always remember dancing with him in his cowboy boots at Gary's wedding. I will surely miss you, Norm. But I will cherish my fond memories of you. Betsy
