William D. Carson, 92, of Brooklyn, Ohio passed away on February 1, 2022. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy and a longstanding 32nd degree Mason with the Meridian Lodge #710 in Berea, OH. His dedication and service to his community led him to be a Sergeant with the Brooklyn Auxiliary Police and an honorary member of the Marine Corp League. Over the years, it was an honor and privilege for him to play taps at fellow veteran’s funerals. William found great joy in the gift of music and was a member of the Cleveland Letter Carriers Band, Swinging Bavarians Band, and the Parma Singers. His legacy and memory will linger in the hearts of those he loved best. He will be missed. Beloved husband of Elaine (deceased); loving father of Gregory (Barbara), Jeffrey (Dana), Richard (Karen), and Christopher (Stephanie); dear grandfather of Christopher (Jenn), Sarah (Timothy) Meadows, Sean, Alex (Alex), Kimberly (David) Earhart, and Dylan; cherished great grandfather of Cian and Finian Meadows, Rowen Carson; step grandfather of Molly Wolcott; brother of 9. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 from 10AM – 12 Noon with a service at 12 Noon at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070.
