Patricia Ann Yurick (nee Petkus), age 78, passed away Aug. 23rd of COVID-19 with her daughters and grandaughter by her bedside at Prince William Hospital. She is survived by her children Chris (Deanna) Korosec, Jeanne Federico, An Read Obituary
Pat and her husband Marty were dear friends of my parents. Their friendship with my parents made a huge impact on both of them and enriched their lives for the better. Plus they were always laughing and having such a good time. I have such fond memories of all the joking around they did. It also taught me how to live lightheartedly and how that can enrich friendship and help you grow. I also remember a lot of wonderful lake adventures on their boat; The 1st of May! Every May 1st I still think of that and would reach out to Pat. Pat was a wonderful support for me after my mother passed away a few years ago. We shared so many good insights and memories together through Facebook. I am really going to miss “talking” to Pat through Facebook. It seems like she has been there for most of my life! I am so going to miss her beautiful face and way of being. I have so much gratitude for her her delightful spirit and wonderful friendship to all of us. She’s left a huge positive impact!
My prayers and condolences to the family of my dear cousin, Pat. I have so many wonderful memories of her from our childhood and beyond. Some of fondest memories are of sitting on Grandma's front porch every Sunday---talking, drinking Cokes and watching the people walk by going to or from church. It was so much fun. And then there were the dances at Club Cyoda and Our Lady of the Rosary. Visiting each others families where we would often sit and listen to records and talk.
Pat and I had so much fun together at Petkus Real Living and trivia nights in Dayton, Ohio. We both have a fantastic sense of humor, and became instant friends. We stayed in touch throughout all of these years.
I am so incredibly saddened by this heartbreaking news. I absolutely love and adore Pat. Our world is a much sadder place without her in it making us laugh.
Heaven gained a beautiful soul, she will truly be missed every single day.

I did not know Patricia personally, just as Facebook friends for over 2 years. I fly as if I knew her. She was a kind and very much appreciated friend. My prayers to the friends and family. She will be greatly missed. Donna Beattie.
