Although time has passed, your vivid memories remain, and always will...both beautiful and unique......sister of mine.
20 years ago I met Mr. and Mrs. Janosek at a surprise party for their daughter Linda that was hosted by a family friend. I remember that Mr. and Mrs. “ Jano” wanted to meet everyone and were especially pleased to be a part of the event. BBB
Over the years Mrs.Janosek made a point to always ask about Me and my family, remembering all the small details.
I think that was one of her most admirable qualities-making people feel welcome.
She will certainly be missed by many.
Rest In Peace Mrs. Janosek,
Having the privilege of meeting "Mr. & Mrs. Janosek" years ago, I marveled as I watched how lovingly Mrs. Janosek always doted on her husband. Likewise, I'll never forget Mr. Janosek's smile as he addressed her, always ending with a wink.
I had never met a couple more beautiful together, both in person nor spirit. To me, you two were God's example of holy matrimony and what "He" intended marriage to mean. While I selfishly ache at the loss of you, I know you and Mr. Janosek are together, again.
"Thank you" Mrs. Janosek for the years you've allowed me the privilege to serve you, for your support and sincere love throughout my own personal challenges. I will miss you dearly, but will have you and Mr. Janosek in my heart, always.
When my husband Jim died at age 60, Ruthann reached out to me - remembering he played for Coach at Westlake High School so many years ago. She had a kind memory to share and I will always remember her words - a caring and a so thoughtful woman. May she Rest In Peace and may her family enjoy loving memories of their Mom, Grandma and all left behind. Beth Vancik
Ruthann and Jim were best friends with my parents, Jack and Mary Steinhilber. They met at Pointe South and had so much in common. They were always there for each other. Both women lost the love of their lives earlier than they'd expected which strengthened their bond. Despite their distance in the summer months it only took a phone call to make them feel like it had only been a few days. After I lost my mom, Ruthann called to say how heartbroken she was, I still have that voicemail I called her as often as I could to fill that void for her. She never let me forget how much I'd meant to my mom and now to her. She was so very dear to me, she will be missed...
I last talked to her for 38 minutes on May 3rd. She was so happy I'd called. I could tell she was getting tired yet she didn't want to hang up.
Love and prayers to the family.
Rest in peace Ruthann and the four of you stay out of trouble up there!
There will always be a void in my life when I can no longer pick up the phone to reach my sister across the miles, but thankful for 92 years of memories that will never fade.
