In the fall of 2005, Lise & I spent our 1st winter in the Villages. We went to a neighborhood party at the rec center where we met Bob & Jan. We quickly became friends. As couples, we often played golf, played pickleball, dined out, had house parties, celebrated holidays together, or just visited.
Bob was one of the nicest person we know - always happy and never complained. We really missed Bob & Jan when they moved back to Ohio.
So sorry for his loss and our condolences to Jan and family

Judy and I met Bob and Jan when we retired to The Villages in Florida. We were neighbors and moved in about the same time. We enjoyed playing golf and many different activities together. Bob was a gentle spirit , soft spoken and kind. We will miss him. Our prayers are with Jan and their family

Jan and family, Roy and I are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We extend our deepest condolences to you and your family. I recall Bob and John Twist every time I think of my brother, Kenneth Strother. Ken, Bob and John, the three managers of the Tri-C book centers were almost inseparable. When they entered the building at the District office, it was almost like they waited for each other in the parking lot and made a statement by entering the building together. May the laughs and happy memories bring comfot to you during this time. When you hear or see something that reminds you of Bob, it will be Bob saying, "hello."

Knowing Bob since he was first dating Jan, I have many memories from the time we went for a boat ride and got lost on the lake to our memorable trip to Italy in 2013 in which he was hard to keep up with. He and Jan seemed to pass us up and end up in a small restaurant having a pizza and beer. To know Bob was to love him. I was lucky enough to work for him at the Tri-C campus and he was a great boss - we will surely miss him and his great sense of humor.
