Abbas Tyebji Dahodwala's Obituary
Abbas Tyebji Dahodwala, 84, was born on June 9, 1939, to the late Tyebji and Husena Dahodwala. Abbas passed away on April 19, 2024.
Abbas emigrated from India in the 1960’s with a scholarship to study business in Oregon before finally settling in New Jersey. He had a long and successful career in finance in the airline and pharmaceutical industries. After retirement, he dedicated his time to numerous volunteer activities with seniors including serving as an ombudsperson for a local nursing home and advising on personal tax form submissions through the AARP.
Beloved husband of Nadira Dahodwala. Cherished father of Rashid, Ty (Kim), and Nabila (Dan Marut). Loving grandfather of 4. He had a large extended family that he supported in their immigration to the United States.
A graveside ceremony will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 10:45 AM at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will gather at 10:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070, before proceeding to the graveside ceremony.
