Agnes Duldner's Obituary
Agnes Duldner, 86, Strongsville, Ohio, passed away January 8, 2024 after a brief illness.
Agnes was born September 21, 1937 in Zsámbék, Hungary. She immigrated to Avon, Ohio with her family in 1952 and raised her own family in Strongsville, Ohio since 1970.
She was the administrative powerhouse behind her husband’s masonry business and several property management companies for more than 4 decades. She was the co-proprietor, and hostess extraordinaire of Henry Wahner’s restaurant in Kent, Ohio for more than 3 decades.
Agnes was proud of her Donauschwaben heritage and an active member in many of the groups within the Donauschwaben German-American Cultural Center of Cleveland including the Frauengruppe (Women’s group), the Seniorengruppe (Senior group) und Sängergruppe (Choir). She also participated in other German Clubs and Societies in Cleveland, and across the U.S. Agnes loved to sing and her favorite was the Damenchor.
She is survived by: her sisters Eva, Betty, and Rose, and her brother Lester. Her daughter Ann (Jeffrey), her son, Johnny (wife Lynnette, and their children Chase, Tommy, Johnny, Elise, Cami (Kai), Ashley, and great grandchildren Oliver, Kayden and Ryker) and daughter Carol Revello (husband Michael and their daughters Jessica & Maria (Bob)), and grandson Michael (Laura) Duldner, great grandchildren, Austin and Mia. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, step-daughter Christine Duldner, and grandson Andrew Revello.
Friends may call on Monday, January 15, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070. Burial services will be Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Chapel. Following the burial services there will be a luncheon reception at Donauschwaben German-American Cultural Society of Cleveland, Olmsted Falls, Ohio.
