Alan W. Blackmur's Obituary
Alan W. Blackmur, age 90, of Strongsville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 03, 2020.
He was born June 10, 1929, in Cleveland, son of the late Earl and Myrtle (nee Marlitz) Blackmur. Alan loved to travel with his wife, Donelda. He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge # 638, 32nd Degree Scottish Right Mason and also spent time as a Scout Master and worked most of his career manufacturing paper containers. Alan was devoted to his family and will be greatly missed.
Devoted husband of the late Donelda (nee Thiede); cherished father of Jay (Sheila) Blackmur, and Mark (Bonnie) Blackmur; treasured grandfather of Branden, Kian, Mark Jr., Matthew, and Michael; beloved great grandfather of many; loving brother of the late Betty Tresise.
To ensure the health and safety of our community, we are following all guidelines set by local, state and CDC officials. A private family service will take place.
