Dear Family, I was deeply saddened to learn of Alan's passing. He and I are first cousins and I have always followed his career especially when he worked at Channel 5 since I lived in Chardon at the time. Aunt Lil and my dad Joe were brother and sister. We were all so proud of the " Youngstown boy" who made it big. Alan was a kind and loving dad. He adored his kids (even when they gave him trouble as most kids do)! He always had that strong Italian work ethic and persevered even when times were tough. I am glad that he was able to enjoy time in Florida in his retirement years.
