Alice Aurora Throop, age 109, of Westlake, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born November 15, 1910 in Cleveland, daughter of the late Matthew and Seja (nee Lilvis) Sippola.
Devoted wife of the late Robert C. Throop; cherished mother of Marcia (William) Molnar; beloved grandmother of Robert and Donald Johnson; loving sister of Raymond Seppola, Marie Melach, and Elinor Monico.
A private family burial has taken place in Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Alice’s name are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, P.O. Box 72101 or Christ Church Westshore, 25415 Lake Rd., Bay Village, OH 44140.
