Alijah Nathan Andujar's Obituary
Alijah Nathan Andujar, our real-life superhero, peacefully gained his wings on March 10, 2026, at the age of nine. Known affectionately to those who loved him as Bubs, bubbie, bubbacito, or bugs. Alijah was the very definition of love.
In his nine years, Alijah faced more challenges than most do in a lifetime, yet he remained the most resilient person we have ever known. Nothing could hold him down. He navigated the world with joyful defiance and a laugh that was truly infectious. He was a huge jokester, Alijah’s mission in life was to put a smile on everyone’s face, a mission he accomplished every single day. Whether he was playing a trick or laughing at a Siri joke, his humor was his superpower.
Alijah was a boy of sophisticated tastes, a true milk connoisseur. He delighted in hunting for the “weird” flavors, with chocolate chip cookie, waffle, and strawberry banana being among his top tier favorites. If he wasn’t sampling a new milk. He was likely enjoying a bowl of mac n cheese from his favorite spot. Chick-fil-a, Panera, or KFC.
Music was the heartbeat of Alijah’s world. He possessed an incredible memory for lyrics and knew his favorite songs word-for-word. He was never far from his karaoke machine, his beloved toy phone, which he used to record messages that we will now treasure forever or his toy furbies.
While he was a hero to the world, he was a “cuddle bug” at home, especially with his mommy. To describe Alijah is to describe pure, unconditional love.
Alijah’s legacy of strength and laughter is carried on by his devoted parents, Shiann and Ricardo Andujar, his protective brother, Josiah Andujar, his Nana, Cookie Kizzee (Dustin); and his Papa Ricardo Andujar (Lisa). He also leaves behind his great-grandparents, Linda Kizzee and Maryann Bowen Dean; aunts and uncles Stephanie Beran, Nicholas Kizzee (Machella), Julieonna Cottrill (Adrian), Angelina Cottrill, Katrina Andujar, Marissa Andujar (Corey), Cruz Andujar, Cortez Andujar, Paulie, Alexis, and Alicen; as well as a host of cousins and friends who loved him dearly. Alijah was preceded in death by his great grandparents Alba Andujar Caraballo (Wilfredo), and Paul Bowen Sr.
Alijah taught us that no matter the obstacle, there is always a reason to sing, to joke, and to love. He is now walking freely, likely recording a message for us on a golden phone and finding the best mac n cheese heaven has to offer.
A visitation to celebrate Alijah will be held on Monday March 23, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
A celebration of life service to be held at a later date.
