Allen C. Fuller's Obituary
Allen C. Fuller of Fairview Park, 84, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2023. He was born in Cleveland, OH to the late Carl J. Fuller and Marie B. Fuller (Nee' Fanta). After graduating from John Marshall High School in Cleveland, Allen attended Bowling Green State University and then in 1961, joined the United States Army where he served until 1964. "Al", as he was affectionately called, met and married the love of his life, the late Nancy L. Fuller (Nee' Rawes) and they spent 51 wonderful years married together. After raising a family and a long career in retail sales, Al retired and began pursuing his passion of jazz and big band music. Al began performing with bands and playing his saxophone in many social and entertainment venues throughout the Cleveland area. Al became a well known local musician and met many great friends. Al loved his family and especially enjoyed being a grandfather (Papa). He enjoyed working on home improvement projects, volunteering with Nancy at Providence House and Meals on Wheels, and was an avid Cleveland Sports fan. Al leaves to cherish his memory: Sons: Greg (Jennifer) and Mitch (Sarah). Grandchildren: Derek (Kaitlyn), Hannah, Kyla, Jacy, and Bryson. Niece and Nephew: John Mallen and Lynda Frate and many other family and friends. Family will receive family and friends on Friday May, 19th 2023 from 11am-2pm at Sunset Chapel, 6425 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 with a memorial service to follow at 2:00pm.
