Angela Evangelista Gonzalez Matias, 85, of North Olmsted, Ohio passed away peacefully on September 8, 2022. She was born in Añasco, Puerto Rico on October 18, 1936, to the late Angel E. Gonzalez and Maria P. Matias. Angela will be deeply missed by her children: Evelyn (Dario) Restrepo, Maria (Ignacio) Feliciano, Justo Izquierdo, Ildelfonso (Carmen) Izquierdo, Santa (Leonardo) Belgiovine; loving grandmother of Jose L. Crespo Jr., Tommy Crespo, Emmanuel Crespo, Jessica Crespo, Jeniffer Restrepo, Estephanie Restrepo, Cynthia Fitzpatrick, Ronnie Feliciano, Samantha Feliciano, Jasmine Marie, Veronica, Christopher, Chayanne, and Andrew, Celeste, Brandon, Daniel, Lucas, Abigail and Lily; cherished great-grandmother of Kenneth, Isaiah, Nicholas, Ronnie, Anthony, Liam, Stephon, Jolanda, Allen, Samuel, Natalie, and Fantasy; her wonderful caregivers, Mellissa Feliciano and Maria Morales and a host of extended family and dear friends. Angela was preceded in death by her husband, Ildelfonso Izquierdo; her children, Erlin Gonzalez and Carmen Crespo. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022, 4-8 pm at Sunset Funeral Services, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 10 am at St. Richard’s Church, 26855 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
