Anne Marie Williams' Obituary
Anne Marie Williams, age 84, of Twinsburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2020.
She was born September 12, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (nee Loehr) McAuliffe. Anne Marie was a strong woman of faith and a devout, practicing Catholic. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan who knew everything about the team! She was very intrigued by anything history related and would watch any history program she could find on TV. She enjoyed reading, winning a good round of Scrabble, playing cards (especially Michigan) and board games, and anything that would bring the family together. Anne Marie was incredibly family oriented and loved hosting gatherings. She greatly looked forward to spending holidays with her loved ones and enjoyed preparing and cooking for the events. Her favorite holiday to celebrate was Thanksgiving. Prior to retirement, she worked as an Administrative Assistant at Ursuline College, Huron Road Hospital, the Cleveland Clinic, and Rockwell Automation. Anne Marie will be greatly missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.
Devoted wife of 59 years to Donald E. Williams; cherished mother of James Williams, Deborah (Chris) Womack, and Julie (Jeff) Kho; treasured Nana of Alex Kho, Hannah Kho, and Briley Womack; beloved sister of the late Thomas McAuliffe Jr., Regina Carpenter, and John “Jack” McAuliffe.
A private family Mass will occur at a later date at St. Mary’s Church in Berea.
