Anthony Michalski's Obituary
Anthony Michalski, age 85, passed away on December 26, 2024. Born on July 30, 1939, he was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Stella Michalski. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Patricia Michalski.
Anthony is survived by his loving children, Ann Marie Griffin and Ruth Ann (Harry) Duncan. He was a proud grandfather to Amber Marie Michalski, Breanna Griffin, Amber Dawn (Gary) Gabrielli, and Patrick (Rebekah) Duncan, and a doting great-grandfather to Aiden, Macie, and Lucas Duncan.
He is also survived by his siblings, Joseph (Donna) Michalski, Carol Zuanaich, Mary Jane Fritz, Richard (Lori) Kosakowski, George (Bonnie) Kosakowski, and David (Monica) Kosakowski. He was preceded in death by his siblings Bernadette Konn, Helen Kosakowski, and Robert Michalski. Anthony will be dearly missed by his longtime friend and companion, Isabell Plicka Klonowski, as well as many loved nieces and nephews.
Anthony was known for his unwavering support and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a passionate fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians, and he enjoyed playing poker with family, relaxing on family vacations, golfing, and bowling. He had a special talent for spoiling the women in his family and loved listening to polka music and Elvis.
Anthony's kindness, generosity, and love for his family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and support that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to be part of his life.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until the start of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Anthony will be laid to rest privately at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
