Arlene Klinger's Obituary
Arlene Klinger, 95, passed away on March 30, 2026. She was born on January 22, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was raised by her loving parents, Rose and Michael Katala, who nurtured in her a deep sense of compassion, resilience, and devotion to family.
Arlene’s life was defined by the people she loved. She was the devoted mother of Sandee Krisko (Ken), Debbee Dragony (David), Diane (deceased) Hama (Richard), Guy “Skip” (Threse) Klinger, and Gregory Klinger. She was a beloved grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 14, each of whom brought her immense joy. Arlene was preceded in death by her great grandson, Nicholas English, whose memory she carried tenderly. Arlene grew up in a lively and loving household with her siblings: Robert Katala, Richard (deceased) Katala (Harvey Levin), and Kathleen Kereki (deceased). Their shared stories and lifelong bonds shaped many of the values she passed on to her own family.
Those who knew Arlene will remember her for her kindness and her ability to make every person feel seen and valued. She had a gift for creating warmth wherever she went, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured, the love she gave freely, and the memories she leaves behind.
