Arthur Carl Abe's Obituary
Arthur C. Abe, age 96, of Westlake, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2024. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on January 10, 1928, Arthur was the cherished son of the late Arthur H. and Ella R. Abe.
Arthur was the beloved husband of 67 years to the late Evelyn (née Prasak) Abe. Together, they shared a life filled with love, devotion, and adventure. He is survived by his children, David Abe and Jeanette (Richard) Nigro. Arthur's legacy also continues through his 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his cherished son, Arthur Abe.
Known for his remarkable skill in fixing anything, Arthur was always more than willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as spending time at the family cottage on Sandusky Bay, where he enjoyed fishing and boating. Arthur was also an avid traveler, exploring the world with his beloved wife, Evelyn. Of all the places they visited, Greece held a special place in his heart.
A visitation to honor and celebrate Arthur's life will be held on December 5, 2024, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, Ohio, 44070. A service will immediately follow in the chapel.
