We extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to Reds family. May God grant you his peace in your time of grief and loss.
We will fondly remember, while Tom was recovering from surgery four (4) years ago, Red pitching in to help with gardening duties in the front of our home. He knew we were overwhelmed based on the condition of the flower beds. He has continued to help do so since then each time he rolled up the sidewalk. It gave us an opportunity to spend time with him over something we all enjoyed. Our children lovingly referred to him as our "gardener" Red. He shared details about the family and his life we enjoyed learning.
Our family will truly miss Red.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you, Jeff and family, at the loss of your precious father. May God give you all His peace as you remember the great influence and blessing he was in your lives. I remember several years ago when he and Janet came to see Barb and me in Chattanooga they spent the night at my mothers on the way and she cooked dinner for them. He loved her homemade bread so much she gave them a loaf for the road. He told her it was the best homemade bread he had eaten and often reminded me over the years how he appreciated her cooking. He returned her kindness by inviting her to come on a vacation in North Carolina which she really enjoyed. He was always kind to her.
