Arthur "Art" J. McClelland's Obituary
Arthur “Art” J. McClelland, 78, of Brook Park, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020 following a lengthy illness. Born to the late Edward “Wayne” and Margaret (Ganley) McClelland in Lilly, PA. Art is survived by his wife Charlotte; children Arthur (Dona) P. McClelland, Timothy (Tina) McClelland, Tracy (Craig) Catanzarite, Bridgett (Mark) Hanson; two stepchildren Samantha Lestock and Jay Lestock; grandchildren Andrew, Justin, Nathan, Mathew, Dante, Giovanna, Genaro, Angelo, Carmen, Stella, Mia; three great-grandchildren Ciernan, Lochlann, and Tadhg; a brother Richard “Dick” McClelland; and many nieces and nephews. Art loved building hot rods, visiting Sedona, Arizona, enjoyed music and dance, attending car shows, and painting replicas of Bob Ross’s works. Art was employed by American Airlines for 37 years as a crew chief and enjoyed his time there and many friends made along the way. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 from 1PM until 4PM at the Sunset Chapel located 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted 44070. Funeral service to take place at 10AM on Thursday, April 30, 2020 and burial in Sunset Memorial Park to follow immediately. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve in honor of Art.
