Arthur Walter Hubbell's Obituary
Arthur Walter Hubbell was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 12, 1940. He grew up in the westside suburb of Fairview Park and graduated from Fairview Park High School in 1959. Art married his classmate, Roberta Mae (Bobbie) Baker, on June 6 of that year.
Art began working at Bay Village Delicatessen in high school. When the owner retired, Art and Bobbie purchased the business and ran it until they sold it around 1990.
Sons, Michael R. and David A., and daughter Cynthia J. were born between 1960 and 1963. The family moved to Mills Creek in North Ridgeville, OH in 1971. Arthur served numerous years on the governing board there.
During those years, Arthur also became a journeyman newspaper pressman. He worked at the Cleveland Press until it closed in 1977, and at the Cleveland Plain Dealer until he took early retirement around 1995.
He was a member of Alcohol Anonymous for about 40-years and regularly attended meetings where he sponsored other members.
