Arthur Benjamin Totten's Obituary
Arthur B. Totten, born February 13, 1935, age 79, died April 14, 2014 after a brief illness. Art was a life-long resident of the Rocky River – Bay Village area. He worked in the metal working industry most of his adult life. Art was an inventor and held several patents. After his retirement, Art continued playing with cars, especially the fast ones. He built several race cars for family and friends.
Missing Art are his wife of 59 years, Rhonda (nee Brown) and children Mark (Stacy), Jeff (Jeanette), Sue, and Scott (Debbie); grandchildren Anna (Jeremy) Baldi, Lauren, Jake and Mack; great grandchildren London and Jenson Baldi along with extended family Matt (Jessica), Aimee, Nicole, Aydin, Eve and Casia.
Art was the eldest son of the late Arthur Jr. and Anna Totten, and big brother to John (Karen), Barbara (Martin – deceased) Darwin, Bill (Sandee), Jean (Tom) Kemp and Jan (Howard) Partin. He was brother-in-law to Donald (Barbara – deceased) Brown, and Uncle Bud to 51 nieces and nephews and a dear friend to many.
Per Art’s request, no formal services will be held. Cremation arrangements were handled by Dostal Bokas Funeral Services. The family would like to invite all friends to join them in a Celebration Of A Life Well Lived on Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Bay Lodge, 492 Bradley Rd., Bay Village, OH 44140. In Art’s memory, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 23297 Commerce Pkwy., Cleveland, OH 44122.
