Ashley Marie Torres' Obituary
Ashley Marie Torres, 32, was born on April 10, 1990, in Parma, Ohio to Lucy and the late Edwardo Torres.
Ashley passed away on March 11, 2023. Beloved granddaughter of Luz Maria and the late Domingo Rivera, Sr. and her paternal grandmother, the late Juanita Torres. Cherished sister of Samuel Gonzalez, Jr., and Isabella Alana Torres. Loving niece and dear cousin to many, including her closest cousins, Alysha, Lexi, Olivia, Mando, and Luis, Jr. Ashley leaves her best friends, Shannon, Hanny, Erica, Yasmine, Marisa, Angelina, and many others. She also leaves her beloved dog, Ejay, who meant so much to her.
Ashley graduated from North Olmsted High School. After high school, she advanced her studies into healthcare. Ashley was an extremely hard worker, and she initially worked at Marymount Hospital in the Psychiatric Department and the Emergency Room, where she touched and saved many lives. She later transitioned to Hillcrest Hospital, where she worked in Labor and Delivery. Ashley also dedicated much time to working with her mom in Home and Healthcare services.
Ashley had a great sense of humor and could not pass up the opportunity to play tricks on her family with anything from prank calls to her more extreme pranks that kept everyone on their toes. She knew how to make the most of her time. She loved going to parties with all her friends, going shopping, especially to Marshalls, and going out to eat. Her favorite restaurant was Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, where she would order their hibachi. She also enjoyed pasta and shrimp, which her mom would prepare for her.
Ashley also enjoyed the outdoors and traveling. She traveled to Colorado when she took her dog, Ejay, on his very first vacation. She also went on a cruise in 2012 with her family, Cancun with her cousins, Florida, and many more places.
Ashley was a giver. She always looked out for others and never asked for anything in return. She was strong. No matter how she was feeling, she never complained. Ashley loved life and would much rather spend her time laughing and staying positive. She was very faithful and leaned on God to support her and her family. Her family meant everything to her, especially her siblings and her mom, who was her rock.
Ashley had the kindest, softest, and sweetest spirit. She will be deeply missed by all.
