Audrey Blue Glaser's Obituary
A life-long Cleveland Indians fan, Audrey Louise Blue Glaser passed away peacefully after a brief illness on April 30, 2024. A graduate of John Marshall High School (January 1952), she maintained friendships with the Jo-Mars for the rest of her life. Prior to her graduation from Ohio Wesleyan University (1956), she worked as a “calculator” at NACA the predecessor to NASA. Daughter of Martin J. and Dora H. (nee Owens) Blue. She raised her sons, David M. and James M., on a Cleveland Public School’s salary. Retiring from Newton D. Baker Jr. High School, she enjoyed traveling across the globe with her sister, Martha, and brother-in-law, William Fitzgibbons.
While a child of Calvary Dutch Reformed Church, services will be held at West Park United Church of Christ, 3909 Rocky River Drive, on Saturday May 11, 2024, at Noon. In lieu of flowers, please forward donations in her name to West Park UCC.
