Bacel E. Brooks, 88, of Strongsville, passed away July 27, 2019.
Beloved husband of 61 yrs, to the late Norma (nee Cogar); loving father of Richard (Diane), Michael (Kim), Elmer (Doris), Donna (the late William), Robert (Debbie) Ronald (Gina) and Beverly Hatfield; cherished grandfather of David, Randy, Aaron (Samantha), Kristina (John), Joseph (Melissa), Danielle, Amanda, the late Joey, Matthew, Steven, Sarah, Tony, Justin, Elizabeth (Danny), Timothy (Tori), Melissa and William R Hatfield, III (Breanna); adoring great grandfather to Autumn, Halea, the late Victoria, Dylan, Christopher, Gabriel, Caleb, Brenna, Elizabeth, Gracie, William, Cassey and Noah; dear brother of Ina Hall and many other family and friends.
Bacel was a faithful member of Trinity Freewill Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, grandpa and papa to not only his family but to so many. Bacel was a hardworking man, a strong provider, mentor and leader. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
Visitation is, Thursday, August 1, 2019, from 4-8 p.m at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted. The funeral services will commence, Friday, August 2nd, at 2 p.m. Interment, with military honors, will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
