Barbara M. Colonius' Obituary
Barbara M. Colonius, lovingly known to family and friends, passed away on February 2, 2026, after a long illness. She was born on May 30, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Henry George and Elsie Johnston.
Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her sons, Neal Dickens, Craig Dickens, and her loving daughter, Michelle (Michael) Tipton. She also leaves behind her six grandchildren, whom she adored, and two great-grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness. Barbara is further survived by her dear sister, Cathy and brother, Arnie George.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis Colonius daughter, Sharon Myers and son, Tim Dickens.
Barbara’s love for her family was unwavering, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
