Barbara Jeanne Hawkins' Obituary
Barbara Jeanne Hawkins, 92, of Olmsted Falls, Ohio passed away on June 22, 2024. She was born on July 14, 1931 to the late Wilbur and Claudia Ruth Stokes.
She is survived by her children, Craig (Debra) Hawkins, Constance (Joe) Wasserman, Jeffrey (Marcia) Hawkins, Judy (James) Plonski, and John (Jeanne) Hawkins; grandchildren, Rebecca, Tiffaney, Clinton, Tyler, Halley, Jaime, Jessie, Michaela, Tony, Nicole, Timothy, Seth, Kaitlin, Samantha, Spencer, Libby; and 20 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hawkins; and brother, Carl Stokes.
She was an operator and owner of Uncle John’s Plant Farm. She was an adventurous person who loved to travel. Well into her 80’s she was ziplining, roller-skating, and riding her bike.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Park's Westwood Abbey Mausoleum, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow at New Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Olmsted Falls, Ohio.
