Barbara Anne Soza-Anderson's Obituary
Barbara Anne Pincombe was born on January 13, 1932, and graduated from Berea High School in 1950. She married Eugene Soza in March of 1955 and had four sons within five years. After being widowed in 1998, she later married Karl Anderson and was widowed again in 2019. Through her marriage to Karl, her family now includes a step son (Brian) and his family.
She herself passed away on December 16, 2023, just shy of her ninety second birthday. She had spent much of her working life at the Ridgewood clinic in Parma, Ohio, where she was employed as a receptionist and record keeper.
Barbara loved gardening and nature, especially birds and flowers. As a girl she learned to play the piano, and continued to play into her elderly years, especially Christian hymns. She was passionate about her family, which, besides her step son’s family, includes her four sons (Matt, Scott, Jon, and Joel) and four daughters in law (Debbie, Barbie, Madeline, and Migdalia). She had eleven grandchildren: Dan, Stephanie, Tom, Corey (married to Jesse Durichko), Jenna (married to Paul Gazillo), Kylie (married to John Mason), Lauren (married to Justin Wernke), Austin, Ethan, Joseph, and Shari. Her ten great grandchildren are: Blake, Avery, and Everett Durichko, Grayson Gazillo, Aubrey Mason, and JJ, Jace, and Maddox Wernke, as well as Colton Soza and Cairo Toeran.
Barbara was affectionately known as “Gigi.” Her greatest love was Jesus, and she grew stronger in her faith as the years passed by. She was adored by her family and will be missed.
