Barbara Ann Zana's Obituary
Barbara Ann Zana, age 86, passed away on June 20, 2026. Born on January 29, 1940, she was the beloved daughter of the late Frances and Ralph Royer.
Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who cherished time with her family above all else. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Valentino P. Zana, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage. She leaves behind her children, Thomas A. Zana, Sharon M. Zana, Laureen R. (Joseph) Roemer, and Michael V. (Kelly) Zana, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. She was a proud grandmother to Kaitlin (Drew) (Roemer) Ward, Valentino Zana, Riley Zana, and Zachery Roemer, each of whom brought her great joy and pride. Barbara is also survived by her sister, Lois Jensen.
Barbara will be remembered for her love of family and the warmth she brought into the lives of those who knew her. She lived a life full of care, dedication, and compassion, leaving behind a legacy of love that will endure through generations.
A private graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Barbara’s name to the Cleveland Animal Protective League.
