Benjamin J. Meadows Sr.'s Obituary
Benjamin Joseph Meadows, Sr., age 94, peacefully passed away on December 27, 2023. Ben was married to his loving wife, LaVerne, for 69 wonderful years. He was born in Brookside, Alabama. Dear father of David (Michelle) and Shirley (Dennis). Ben is preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Jr. Loving grandfather to Wesley, Nathan, and Alyssa. Ben was a veteran of the Korean war and received a Purple Heart. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 40 years. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. Every summer he had a huge garden in his backyard and was an excellent gardener who had a green thumb. He was the greatest father and grandfather anyone could have.
A Graveside Committal Service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 10:00AM. Family and Friends may meet at Sunset Chapel (6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070) at 9:45AM. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Section 1-0.
