Bernadette A. Derenburger's Obituary
Bernadette A. Derenburger (nee Kaspar), 58, of Westlake, Ohio poured her last drink on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at her home. She was born on October 30, 1962 in Cleveland, Ohio. Bernadette was a socialite with a warm and welcoming personality. She enjoyed people, and it was very fitting her career was in the hospitality industry. For over 30 years, she served many customers as a bartender and server. Her hard work ethic was evident in and out of the workplace. She loved doing yard work and always looked forward to making the yard immaculate for summer entertaining and family barbecues. Her yard was an extension of her welcoming personality. She enjoyed sitting with her family in her yard during warm summer days and sitting by the fire during quiet evenings. Most importantly, she loved being a Nana to her granddaughter Aleena. Her favorite time was spent having Aleena over for sleepovers and spoiling her joyously. Beloved wife of Dennis Derenburger of 40 years; loving mother of April (Denis) Wood and Jeremy (Nikki) Derenburger; devoted Nana of Aleena; dear daughter of George (deceased) and Arlene (nee Marquardt) Kaspar; cherished sister of Christine (Dave) Spies and Raymond (Angela) Kaspar, Ieda (Edie)Brazil.
