Bernadine "Bernie" M. Baker's Obituary
Bernadine “Bernie” M. Baker, 92, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025. Born on May 5, 1932, to the late Andrew and Marie Vaxman, Bernie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Bernie is survived by her children, Darlene (Charles) Verhoff, Mary Lynn (late Anthony) Wynieski, Theresa (David) Gross, Richard (Diane) Baker, Andrew (Cheryl) Baker, Joseph (Patricia) Baker, and Christine (Robert) Nedrich; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and her brother Andrew Vaxman. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard, and her brother, Gerald Vaxman.
Bernie dedicated over 60 years of her life working at Dick’s Bakery, where she was known by many. She cherished spending time with her family, especially during the holidays, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Cypress Hospice and Generations Senior Living- Berea for their compassionate care and support during this difficult time.

A visitation will take place Saturday, March 8 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Saint Mary of Berea, 250 Kraft St, Berea, OH 44017. Funeral mass will take place immediately at 11:00 am.
