Betsy was my Grandma. I love her and miss her very much. She and my Grandpa had a profound impact on my life. She was always there for me and supported me in all I did. She always called it like she saw it and taught me some valuable life lessons. I remember spending my summers with her and my Grandpa, listening to the Big Band radio station, Indians games or watching old tv shows like Gilligans Island and Price Is Right. When I got older I would ride my bike or walk to their house and watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy with both of them in the basement. Grandma always baked cookies or cake and fixed our family holiday meals, especially the Easter Lamb cake!
I remember sleeping over their house and she would make popcorn in the air popper! My favorite! And we always could count on them having ice cream in the freezer!
Some of my favorite memories are with her. She lived a very long and happy life with my Grandpa. I’m very lucky to have had her as my Grandma. I can’t wait till I see her again.
I love you Grandma.
