Betty Jean Salmon's Obituary
Betty Jean Salmon, age 77, of Middleburg Hts., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 20, 1941 in West Virginia, daughter of the late Edward and Laura Koski. Betty enjoyed square dancing, nature and travelling to places such as Egypt, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hawaii, and Alaska. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Devoted wife of 27 years to Jack Salmon; cherished mother of Warren (Deborah) Raabe, Richard (Andrea) Raabe, and Donald (Jennifer) Raabe; beloved step mother of Lorie (Shawn) Hudson, Robert (Judy) Salmon, Jill (Dielson) Gustama, and Brad (Theresa) Salmon; loving grandmother of 14, caring great grandmother of one; dearest sister of Edward “Harry” Koski (friend, Pat), Gerald (Sharon) Koski, and Joanne (Richard) Habke.
Visitation will take place on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 4PM – 7PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070 where funeral service will commence on Tuesday, April 23, at 10AM. Interment immediately following in Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Betty’s name are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, P.O. Box 72101, Cleveland, OH 44192.
