Betty Frances Warren's Obituary
Betty Frances Warren, age 89, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025. Born on July 8, 1936, Betty was the beloved daughter of the late Farley and Locie Bales.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Eugene Warren, Sr., with whom she shared many years of love and companionship. Betty’s life was deeply rooted in family. She was the devoted mother of Mike (Pam) Hamilton, Nancy Sitzler (deceased), Edith Smith, KC Hamilton (deceased), Margaret Basile (deceased), and Jeanne Cutshaw (deceased). She was also a loving stepmother to Curtis Warren Jr., David (Bonnie, surviving) Warren (deceased), Scott (Teresa) Warren, and KerrySue Koeppel (deceased). She was the adored grandmother Sarah Hamilton, Amber Twarek (Zach), Jessica Ilavsky, John Imperatore III, Betty Borovich (deceased), Karen Koenig, Reed Baker, Jack Rice, Ward Rice, Shelby Williams, Kyle Warren, Gene Warren, Courtney Warren, Mary Warren, Tracy Wilson, David Warren, Jr., Audrey Warren, Kate Tucker, and Corey Scott. She was also blessed with 24 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy. Betty was the cherished sister of Barbara Hansford (deceased), Delmar Bales (deceased), and Hank Bales. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will remember her warmth and kindness.
A woman of creativity and skill, Betty found joy in crafts, especially sewing and crocheting. She lovingly crocheted countless Afghans, each stitch a testament to her patience and care. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, finding happiness in their company and in the bonds that connected them across generations.
Betty’s life was a tapestry woven with love, resilience, and devotion. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her creative hands, and her unwavering dedication to her family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Christ Church, 23080 Royalton Road, Columbia Station, OH 44028. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Cemetery, 3700 Center Road, Avon, OH 44011.
