Beverly J Wayland's Obituary
Beverly J. Wayland, 89, of Columbia Station, Ohio, passed away on March 10, 2025. Born on April 26, 1935, in Lakewood, Ohio, to the late Harold and Mildred Farren, Beverly lived a life filled with love, family, and meaningful contributions to her community.
She was the devoted wife of 58 years to the late Gary Wayland, and together they built a legacy of love and family. Beverly is survived by her children Laurie (Paul) Kopec, Patricia (Craig) Ingle, and Susan (late Joseph) Vujtech, as well as her 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael Wayland.
Beverly found joy in the simple, beautiful things in life. A talented crocheter, she was an active member of the Strongsville Crocheting group, contributing her handmade creations to bring comfort and warmth to children in need. She had a deep love for dogs, cherished her time with a good book or crossword puzzle, and found fulfillment in giving back to others.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Activities Department at Generations Senior Living, continuing Beverly's legacy of care and kindness.
A graveside service will be held on April 4, 2025 at 11:00am at Sunset Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to meet at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070, no later than 10:45am.
