Bonnie Fogels, 95, passed away on March 20, 2026. Born on February 28, 1931, she was the cherished daughter of the late Agate and Jazeps Bartkevics. Her life was shaped by deep faith and a steadfast connection to her Latvian heritage.
Bonnie was the beloved wife of the late Arvids Fogels, with whom she shared a life built on partnership, resilience, and enduring love. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Bill) Salim, her grandchildren, Alisa (Dean) Fuller and Christopher (Erin) Salim, and her great‑grandchildren, Kaia Fuller, Hugh Dean Fuller IV, Casey Salim, and Baker Salim.
A dedicated and longtime member of the United Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cleveland, Bonnie lived her faith with quiet strength and unwavering commitment. Her presence in the congregation was marked by kindness, humility, and a deep sense of community.
