Brian Kelsey Burk's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Kelsey Burk, age 52, who departed this life on July 4, 2025. Born on December 20, 1972, to Robert K. and Barbara Burk, Brian lived a life full of love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of the outdoors.
Brian was a devoted father to Tyler Burk (Lia), Kyle Burk, and Kayla Burk (Matt), and a proud grandfather to Wesley, Bruce, and Mallie. He shared his life with his beloved companion, Denise Dohm, whose love and support were a constant source of strength. He is also survived by his sister Bethany, nephew Jacob Lozinak (Brooke), niece Caitlin Paulocsak (Noah), and great-niece Ryleigh, all of whom held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Justin Lozniak.
Brian found peace and happiness in nature. Whether he was fishing, spending time outdoors, or tending to his land on his cherished John Deere, he was most at home under the open sky. His quiet strength, warm smile, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Memorial visitation is July 17, 2025, from 4-5:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, where the memorial service will follow at 5:00 PM.
