Brian M. Hewko's Obituary
Brian M. Hewko, 46, of Bay Village, went to the Lord on September 28, 2018.
Beloved husband of Kristin (Petricca); loving father of Mason and Anton Hewko; dear son-in-law of Carolyn Petricca; nephew of Michael Hewko; and his dog Diego. He was preceded in death by his mother Anna Hewko; grandparents Michael and Justina Hewko; and father-in-law Anthony Petricca.
Brian was raised in the Ukranian Orthodox Church and was a 1989 graduate of Saint Ignatius High School. He continued his education at the University of Dayton and graduated as a mechanical engineer. Brian was a member of Christ Church Westshore. He believed soccer was life. Brian coached soccer and belonged to the Men’s Soccer League at Concordia, and the Bay Village Band of Brothers Soccer Club. He loved jeeps and animals big and small. Brian cherished coaching soccer to his children and Bay Village area youths. He enjoyed going fishing with his boys or taking nature hikes together in the Metroparks or the creek behind their home.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 4-8 PM at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. His funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 1 PM at Bay Presbyterian Church, 25415 Lake Road, Bay Village, OH 44140 (Please Meet at church). A graveside service will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070.
