Burt Theodore Slowbe's Obituary
Burt Theodore Slowbe, 74, of North Olmsted, OH, passed on January 4, 2023 after battles with multiple illnesses.
Burt was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Virginia Slowbe, and his beloved wife Marjorie, "Margie."
He is survived by his daughter, Karen, cousins, Mark Slowbe and David (Susan) Slowbe; sister-in-law, Mari Lou (Derek) Perry, nephew, Nicholas Herr and niece, Skye Lynne Perry.
Burt will also be missed by lifelong best friend Chuck (Patti) Talaba, and caring neighbors Dirk and Maria Thullen, Marilyn and George Olsen, and Mike and Tiffany Wolf.
Burt loved to travel -- especially to New Orleans with wife Margie for Mardi Gras. In their younger years, he and best pal Chuck traveled around the country, and he loved reminiscing about this adventure.. He enjoyed gardening and filled his backyard with a variety fruit trees. Burt was a member of the Theodore Breck Masonic Lodge No. 714 in Brecksville, and was a parade participant as “Rinkles the Clown” in many, many parades.
Burt and his dad spent many hours restoring his 1971 Karmann Ghia, a project which brought him great pride and lasting memories.
Burt was truly one-of-a-kind and will be missed.
Visitation is Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. The graveside service will follow at Sunset Memorial Park at 2:15 PM.
