Cara Lynn Hogan's Obituary
Cara Lynn Hogan (nee Miller), age 65, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2021 with the comfort of her family. She is preceded in death by her husband T. Michael Hogan and sister Susan McQuiston.
Cara is survived by her sister Lynn Miller-Penegor; nieces and nephews Michele Gaglione, Thomas Berendsen, Paul Berendsen, Marie Miller, Robyn Penegor and Cass Penegor. She was also great aunt to 14 and great-great aunt to 6.
PWA of Victory Assembly International Order of Rainbow for Girls; 47 year member of West Park Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and dual member of Golden Rule Chapter. Cara was Past Matron 5 times, Past Deputy Grand Matron, Drill Director and Ohio OES Chorus Director.
Cara thoroughly enjoyed quilting, music, theatre movies and books – she was an avid reader.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:30 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted. OES Services will commence at 7:30 PM by West Park Chapter and Golden Rule OES. Memorial Service to follow with Pastor Sue Tamilio of the United Methodist Church of Brook Park officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cara’s memory to The Cleveland Learning Center, 1150 Linda Drive, Rocky River, OH 44116-1826.
